I mentioned at the beginning of this exploration of marketing with Twitter that there are some quick and easy things you can do if you have a blog to tap into the “Twitter-sphere”.
First one I’m going to mention is really simple…
…and you don’t even have to be a Twitter user yourself. How cool is that!
It’s called…
…“TwitThis” and with it you can place a link to Twitter at the end of every blog post or somewhere convenient on your website.
There’s a small graphic (you can see it at the bottom of this post) that enables your readers to click and create an instant Twitter message with your website address or the blog entry address.
There’s a WordPress plugin (‘natch!) that makes the whole thing dead easy to add to a blog.
Now, you may ask why bother having a separate Twitter bookmark when Twitter is included in other bookmark managers.
Well, I’d suggest that because Twitter has become such a big thing, it’s importance is such that it merits a separate bookmark. You want to make it easy for people to “Tweet” about you and one click beats having to go through a multi step process.
So a quick, simple way to start tapping into Twitter.
And if you found this useful, why not tweet about it? Simply click on the “twitthis” button below.
